Here’s our Captain’s Tips for your most enjoyable deep sea fishing charter aboard Chipper’s Clipper sportfishing boat at Orange Beach Marina, Alabama. Capt. Chip has more than 30 years of experience fishing the waters of the Gulf of Mexico, so he can provide top tips for making your offshore fishing adventure the most enjoyable and memorable for you, your family and fishing party.

Attire is weather dependent. Much of the year shorts and t-shirts or sports shirts are comfortable. As much of day can be spent on deck out in the sun, many prefer long sleeve fishing shirts. Of course sunscreen and hats are recommended.  During our cooler charter months long pants and a sweatshirt may feel better with an additional jacket for extra comfort. Recommended footwear is deck shoes or athletic shoes. Hard soled footwear like cowboy boots (or ladies’ heels) are not advisable.
