Things to Know

On your fishing adventure with Chipper’s Clipper, you can expect to reel in a variety of fish, including Red Snapper, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Bull Redfish, Cobia, Triggerfish, Vermillion Snapper, Black Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, and Scamp. Each season brings different opportunities, so check our “What’s in Season” page for the latest updates.

To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable trip, I recommend bringing the following:

  • Sunscreen and a hat for sun protection
  • Sunglasses with UV protection
  • Comfortable, non-slip shoes
  • Light snacks and drinks (we provide ice and water)
  • A camera to capture your memorable catches
  • Motion sickness medication if you’re prone to seasickness

A good night’s sleep is essential for an early start. Dress in layers to accommodate changing weather conditions, and don’t worry about bringing your fishing license or fishing gear—we have that covered.

Safety is our top priority. If the weather is unfavorable, we’ll reschedule your trip for another day. We keep a close eye on weather forecasts and will keep you informed of any changes.

Rough seas can be challenging, but we’re here to help you navigate them safely. If you’re concerned about seasickness, consider taking motion sickness medication before the trip. Stay hydrated, avoid heavy meals, and keep your eyes on the horizon to help maintain your balance.
