Welcome to Captain Chip’s Tips, where I share my insider knowledge to ensure you have an unforgettable fishing experience aboard Chipper’s Clipper. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a first-time fisherman, these tips will help you prepare for your trip and make the most of your time in Orange Beach, Alabama.

To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable trip, I recommend bringing the following:

  • Sunscreen and a hat for sun protection
  • Sunglasses with UV protection
  • Comfortable, non-slip shoes
  • Light snacks and drinks (we provide ice and water)
  • A camera to capture your memorable catches
  • Motion sickness medication if you’re prone to seasickness
A good night’s sleep is essential for an early start. Dress in layers to accommodate changing weather conditions, and don’t worry about bringing your fishing license or fishing gear—we have that covered.
Safety is our top priority. If the weather is unfavorable, we’ll reschedule your trip for another day. We keep a close eye on weather forecasts and will keep you informed of any changes.
Rough seas can be challenging, but we’re here to help you navigate them safely. If you’re concerned about seasickness, consider taking motion sickness medication before the trip. Stay hydrated, avoid heavy meals, and keep your eyes on the horizon to help maintain your balance.

With these tips and recommendations, you’re all set for a fantastic day on the water. We look forward to welcoming you aboard Chipper’s Clipper for an adventure filled with great catches, stunning views, and unforgettable memories.
